I have a .dds texture and when i try and inject it it says must be DXT2 or DXT3 and the file is DXT3 and it still doesnt work anyone know whats wrong?

He saved it as the right type.

He saved it as the correct type to begin with, unless you mean DXT1...

I have ran into this problem before, but even if you save it as DXT1 or 3 you can still have a problem importing it. If someone is still having problems when you save and it asks you for the save option like DXT1, DXT3, go down more you will see one like 5.5.5 or 3.3.3 something like that they them, if they don't work. Try others until it imports. Sometimes you can change that and it will work. I had to do that with some of mine.

ok guys, listen up, when u want to save ur file go back into HMT and check the file type before u save, right above where u can preview the skin, there is a file type, most of the time it says DXT and the number but sometimes it says A1R5G5B5 or ARGB with other numbers between, well when ur in photoshop, take those numbers and find that file type
