any idea what the tut could have been about? is it a chunk adder thingy or some other type of stuff?

Yea it has some things about adding chunks.
It sucks because I had a good tut on how to add trees but I reformatted my hard drive so I lost it.

Sorry :?

I'm pretty sure it would be, from memory I will try to remeber the tut I had...

Open insolence and go to the itmc and make a duplicate of battle rifle.
Drag and drop the tree you want.
Then use a chunk adder to add a chunk to the [collections] (Weapons).
Then open ADI V2.0 and hit ??? to bring up the guerilla tool, and swap the battle rifle2 to Scen (your tree).
Use darkmatter to move the tree where you please (it will be close to one of the battle rifles on the map)
Make sure you are moving Battle Rifle2, REMEMBER THAT!

Wow, I remembered a lot then I thought I would.

*Note* When I was doing this, I couldnt bring up the Guerilla tool.

but the trees will not be system compatiable and you will be able to walk threw them! there is a tut in the file forms by miles that has a way to have collision on it. the scen tag work dif from the mach tag ang the scen collision is worked into the sbsp somehow!

Most items like Tree's, have a collision thats built into the BSP. Hence taking a tree and moving it, will allow you to walk through it, but not shoot through it.etc.

no it wont!
only thing that will show up threw the itmc tag will be weapons/powerups
in a system link game, your going to acutally add the scen to the scen pallete then add the scen to the scen spawn and spawn it that way to get it to work

Thats a bad attitude towards modding. Then again, if you found a tree in a map that was NOT part of the bsp, you could use insolence to copy it over. But the tree in sanctuary i know is part of the BSP so dont use that.
