I don't think this rule is unfair at all, although I didn't mean to say only Serenity, I just forgot to say ppf. PPF would work too, but not sized ppf because the ppfs generated by sized ppf are too large to be hosted on Halomods. But, the problems with sized PPFs is an entirely different discussion.MasterChief2829 wrote:why serenity? That's a bit unfair...
I've already talked to DoorM4n and many others about this and after talking to them, they usually agree it's a good rule & not unfair..
The reason for this rule is that you can only make a Serenity or ppf of a (relatively) proper map, so by enforcing this restriction, it encourages people to try to create proper maps. Usually if your map is improper, like this one, and a patch can't be made, it requires you to LEARN what is wrong so that you can fix or avoid it, which really ends up helping that person and the community in the long run.
Anyway, in short the rule is to encourage people to make proper maps. If you (or anyone else) would like to discuss any of the rules or their purpose or goal, feel free to PM me.
