In complete honesty and nothing against you, my opinion is that you should look around on the forums (And possibly the outstanding mods/halomods elite sections) and see what skins are liked, and try to make skins of that quality. You will then see the amount of time that goes into things of that level of beauty and try to get your skins to have that same "shine" your first skins may suck (Though I'm sure there are cases where someone is just good at it in the first attempts) and you really shouldn't post them.

But, that's what I'd do. It's a nice job for a first skin, yes.
