If Shalted wanted it to be a windows app, he probably could have released windows binaries (notice he didn't even include linux binaries as he did with Incompetence), but, he was nice enough to give you the source so that people with enough intelligence to understand half of what his program does could convert it to windows. I suppose by releasing it like this he hopes to have only people with atleast half a brain using his program, thus preventing a large number of stupid questions. After all, if someone could figure out how to compile it or port it to windows, they should be able to figure out how to use it without too many dumb questions, right? Maybe he was just in a hurry to get it out though, or being lazy, in which case I'll have to go back and edit portions of my post
Boy is he going to be fooled when some fame-seeking half-brained noob manages to hack it in to a windows executable (probably adding a number of bugs alone the way), and re-releases it for all the people who couldn't figure out how to compile it, at which point a whole new set of questions will be asked...

Blah blah blah
tjc2k4 all i can say to your posts is too true, it was the same when you released Insolence...how many half done, bugged out, quick, pointless mods were made....arggg It's taken untill only recently, with a few exceptions, for modders to begin using the tools avaliable to them properly.
Nice Work on the program it's good to see some source code released so that people whom use macs and linux have a better selection of tools and hopefully with the source code we'll see some lovely new programs with integrated features that aren't buggy.....but i very much doubt that...lol
EDIT: sorry if you don't understand my post I'm really tired and completly brain dead at college ......argggggg

Thank you tjc2k4, the whole point of me releasing it, is so you can either learn from the code, or compile it yourself. By releasing the source, it allows linux users to compile on different architectures (such as x86, amd64, PPC). Also Mac Users Should be able to compile this code, Because(if I'm not mistaken) the Darwin Kernel is based on BSD.(But it would be sort of useless because you have no other modding enviroment...). Although its still a WIP.
Awaiting connection...
