Better moodding

Post by imgettionowned »

This is just a thought, but what would happen if everyone had to go back to using hex to mod, no more programs?

The community wuld probably become beter overall, but lose a large chunk of modders

Going back to hex would be a step backward for the community, yeah it would mean better mods, but they would take longer. Just finding a certain meta's offset(by hand) would be difficult.

Who do you think they got that offset list? They didnt go through every map by hand, they had a ->program<- go through the Item Index and dump the info out of that (and linked it with its meta name of course),

We i would love to learn hex and yes it would take alot longer to edit things and such but hexxing is the most reliable way of modding most mods that are REALLY FING GOOD im sure alot of hexing was involved
