can i use paint shop pro to skin? and what does the dds thing do?

i believe so i hear of people using it all the time, the dds is the file type it will let u actually open the file up and save it as a dds. just search for the psp plugin.

www.adobe.com but its like 700 dollers. i think its worth it if u can make cool graphics

allright then, is there anything that can translate .dds into jpg or something AND can edit it well, and free?
or am i just dreaming?
