switching weapons
ok, I dunno if any of you have the Halo2CE mod or not...but if you do you will see that he has gone through and placed a pistol model in place of the br...I think the br is way cooler looking and would rather use that than the pistol. I figured out how to switch them back, however, when he made this mod he some how edited the BR so that it does not have a scope. How could I put the regular BR back in so that it would have a scope again. I hope that makes sense. Thanks guys

ok, I am probably just an idiot, but I can not figure this out. I opened dothalo v1.0b3.0 and opened up the acension.map and went to the mode tag. I can not see any place where I can edit anything or see any values.
I opened the Dependencies/LoneIDs/Reflexive window and when I click on the objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\battle_rifle in the tag window it shows some stuff in dependencies window but I don't see any null values or any values at all. I am not really sure how to use dothalo though since I have never really used it before. Any idea's?

Here follow these steps.
1) Open your map in dothalo.
2)Go to the 'tags' window.
3) Scroll down to [mode]
4)Find this tag 'objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\fp_battle_rifle\fp_battle_rifle'
5) Click on the Dependencies/loneids/reflexives window
6) Click on this 'objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\shaders\battle_rifle_scope'
7) Go to the dependencies/loneids drop down box just above it and scroll down to 'null' (at the very bottom)
8) Press select null and press save changes
9) Click on this 'objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\shaders\battle_rifle_lens'
10) Repeat steps 7 and 8.
11) Save, and resign
Oh, damnit, you want your scope back, well in a map that has not been modded, that's how you take it off, and reverse that to put it back on.

ok yea...that dothalo was pissin me off, haha I couldn't get it to do anything in there...But I think I might have done it in insolence. here is what i did:
1) went to the mode tag and went to the fp_battle_rifle
2) clicked on the blue shader link under reflexives
4)went to the 2nd chunk and pasted objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\shaders\battle_rifle_scope in the nulled out value
4)went to the 3rd chunk and pasted objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\shaders\battle_rifle_lens in the nulled out value
5)resigned the map
EDIT:::IT WORKS!
