VB application compling?

Ok. I have the VB learning book,BUT I can't find out how to compile your exe/application w/e , can you tell me how? cuase I realy want to save my program to my comp witout having VB to open it.

To create an application go to File > Make (project-name).exe...

Very simple

do I have to put in some code b4 I compile it? cuase when I go to "Make Project" its not lit up and I can't click on it, Please help me I'm veary confused

Yes, you have to have source code to compile.
