well some of you have seen my first version of my attmpts at bumpmapping the monitor and ever since i said il be doing more to the skin i havent had any rest from people saying can i have a look at what uve done well heres a little preveiw of what ive done to the monitor.

u should show a before and after effect... i can barely see the difference!

That doesn't show any difference in bumpmaps...

not bad but you should try to use several different levels
what method do you use to make yours?

i used belvel emboss, extrude image and soften/ sharpen using 2 differnt programs.

My tools have a bumpmap filter, I'm guessing that using that is... worse looking? I've never bothered to do a bumpmapped skin. :P
