Is there a way to set the timer in The MAW final run Longer

I would like to adjust the timer in the final run of the Maw to have more time to explore or battle the aliens. There is a lot of game here but 5 min is not enough to do any thing but GO. It has to be simple I would think if you knew where to look. Anybody know? Mabey just stop it?

yeh you could set it for longer and visit the talking grunt eventhough i can do it in bout 3 minutes
