Ok i have a new question where can i get a blitzkrieg plugin for 3ds max v. 7

U neeed to put tool.exe in ur Halo CE root directory.
And plz check the version of ur Blitzkrieg Plugin and ur 3DSmax. The Plugin u get with HEK is only for 3DSmax 5. Maybe u have to download another Blitzkrieg.

Tool can't be double-clicked on. Download Tool++ by Kornman, an easier interface and can be double-clicked on and doesn't run on command-line.

Ugh **hold head** you have to put a copy of Command Prompt into your Halo CE route directory. You dont run tool, sort of speak, you run command prompt.

once you have a copy of command prompt in your CE directory, double click on that. Then you do your commands:

i.e.

tool bitmaps...
tool lightmaps...
tool build-...
tool model...

download the one for v.6, it works with with 7

i can't install it i copy and paste it in the plugins directory and when i start 3ds max it says that it failed to intialize

did u put the .dl files in ur system folder, if not what operating system do u have?

i'm using windows xp proffesional(i think)
something thatmight be causing the problem is the the blitzkrieg dle file's icon is the winrar logo, instead of that square wiht 9 icons you can't make out, along with all the exporter plugins in that folder

not the .dle, the .dll, there should be 4 of them, copy them, then go to C:\Windows\system32 and paste those files in their, if it asks to overright, select yes, then restart ur computer and the plugin should work now

i tried that it says i can't replace a file(microsoft runtime library) becuse it is in use and i need to close it, but i don't want to close it because i don't know what this does
also this could be moved to the modeling forum if the mods choose to move it, feel free to do so
