Question about Battle Rifle in Halo 2

I am trying to use Dot Halo to change some of the aspects in the Battle Rifle. I want to change it so I have 10000 rounds in my battle rifle, I know how to do this but however, when I do, everyone else that I play with ends up having the same mod. I dont know if I am doing something wrong or what. I want it so ONLY me has the battle rifle mod and no one else. Also I wanted to have it so instead of shooting 3 shots per round, it would shoot like 12 per round. I have done these mods to the battle rifle but when I play system link, the other players see the mods. For example when they pick up the battle rifle, it would say on their screen, picked up 10000 rounds. How can I mod ONLY my battle rifle?

woah. well, what else would one use a mod that effects one player for? I mean, if it's accidentally like that, sure, tbu if you go the extra mile jsut for that result, it's pretty much cheating.

I want this just for me so I can play a joke on my friend in system link. I dont have xbox live and even if I did would NEVER cheat. I think modding is for fun and nothing more. So is there a way to make just my battle rifle like this.

Don't know if this would work, but you could try not being host...some things work when not host, such as....well....I won't say it in fear of banning.

Or you could download the Halo 2 trainer and turn on Rapid Fire/Infinite Ammo. Rapid Fire makes *only* the Battle Rifle shoot like 20 shots a click.

There's absolutely no way that this would work. If you were host, then EVERYONE in the game would have it applied. You could make it where characters don't die, but the effects are still global.
If you are not host, then when you shoot, your information of shooting is sent to the host xbox and the host xbox then tells your xbox what it can and can't do. Such as infinite ammo and crap.
