halo 2 laggy

any time i play of my HDD, the game is laggy, but when i plug in my network cable, it runs smooth.
it also lags the disc when i use ANY trainer.
can anyone help?

how mcuh room is left on your xbox hard drive? mods with alot of things added can sometimes be laggy too

i was thinking about that. ill go delete some saves and any other odd things.
and also, on my disc, somehow i get golden hogs, heretic banshees, and red smgs from my modded game.
ON MY DISC, i mind you.

That would be in your cache space its not actually on your disk your xbox is just loadign those skisn from there if you want it normal just clear your cache (x,y,z drives)

And lag-ness would be caused by your RAM. Maybe you were going through some spots where RAM usage was through the roof..

ah.
and one more question, if i start my Modded game OR disc from my dash with my network cord in, it wont load.
