on any windows xp computer, all you have to do is sign on one of the accounts that is an admin. it is not secret or anything. you can eaither be a computer administrator or a limited access user

Go into safe mode
Sign into the default user
Go to Control Panel
Hit new account
And give Admin privliages
It might also work with editing accounts but i dont remember its been to long since i've done this
