Ok, why VOX files? If you export the sounds as they are, a majority of them are OGG Vorbis files which you can play in Winamp, and the rest are ADPCM WAV files that you can play in WMP if you have the codec. Where did you get this VOX thing from?

I also don't understand the purpose of adding the .vox to your filename when saving. Doing it the way you described in your tutorial doesn't even change the file extensions to .vox, it makes the filename "sound1name.vox.wav" for ADPCM files and "sound1name.vox.ogg" for OGG Vorbis files, thus making the addition of .vox completely pointless.

So assuming you really meant to say "Change the EXTENSION to .VOX":

Yes, yes I realize VOX is AN extension for the ADPCM, but .wav is also and its the default extension for PCM files. I'm sure you could still use your converter (or another non-shareware converter) to convert just as you have been. Whether your file has a .VOX extension or a .WAV extension, its still encoded as a ADPCM so it can be converted (perhaps you have to change it to .VOX because the program you're using doesn't allow you to selecte .wav files as ADPCM, but it should). Ogg Vorbis files are NOT ADPCM and therefore there is NO reason that you should change the extension to .VOX. They should convert perfectly without any modification.
