Gathering Exeption Data?? WTF!!!!

Ok i just installed halo for my PC and every time i try and go into the game it always minnimizes and then a little window pops up saying

Exception!
Gathering Exception Data!

what dose this mean and how do i get this to go away so i can play the game?

Usually something is wrong with your map files. In your case, since it happens when you start up, I think there may be something with the PC... or the UI.map.
