hehehehe yeah I thought the last ai plugin we released still had the indexes as shorts instead of having them be selection boxes (like what weapon or char to use etc) oh and it does have 3 or 4 things that you might want, vehicle permutations,biped permutations and biped something elseWooden Dragon wrote:Thanks. Hey Wooden Dragon:
I'm trying to replace all the marines in the Chief missions with Spartans. I've managed to get the models and sounds to change, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get their shields working. I looked at the insolence tutorial on getting ODSTs in multiplayer, and changed the values they said to change in order to give ODSTs shields, but still no luck. I was wondering if you'd know what I needed to change in order to get their shields working. I copied masterchief/masterchief's HLMT and Biped settings and renamed them to marine/marine [renaming the original marine/marine bits to marine/marineold...].
Also, the armour colour of the marine/spartans is plain white rather than green. How would I change this? I figure you'd be in the know, what with your work on this mod [which is an awesome concept].

Oh, if you could include the shield recharge time on there too I'd be grateful... I've got everything fine and dandy, except my Spartans' shields recharge about a milisecond after taking damage making them invincible!Walshicus wrote:Excellent! I've got it all working. too hard to kill
The MCs are way to hard to kill, it seems like the shields recharge to fast, if you could make them like it is in multiplayer it would make it that much better ex. 1 headshot instead of 3.

I have already modded this mod (?) to my liking. All you have to do is:
Change the health/shield values from elite\elite_ultra to elite\elite and their shields are fixed.
Up plasma and fragmentation grenade damage (jpt!)
Change the plasma grenade's explode delay to 0.5
Now, I mainly use this map for practice with the Battle and Sniper Rifles, so I gave them infinite ammo (leave the clip alone so that you still have to reload).
