WIP : DBCE

Yeah I never seemed to have posted progress before.
I lost my files in a Harddrive Failure Accident, but thanks to masters they are being restored.

The mod was created with permission from the ESF Team (www.esforces.com) for use of their models. Then I h4xed them up and yeah. You play as Goku.

Its' nice I guess. But it's all cool shaders and effects. Will the gameplay be there, or will it be eye candy?

Gameplay's there, even on how degraded it is in it's current state. Some lag issues, we're trying to fix that up. The games I played were really fun. It's great dodging attacks by moving at rapid speed, or popping out of nowwhere and shooting ki blasta at your opponent.

The gameplay is nothing like Halo's, completely different, because of the open-ness of the levels.

just thinking... Why don't you just do permutions? That would be far more interesting. Random DBZ bipeds would be crazy.

Nonono, the lag itself comes from the lunging at people, because of the uncoordinated damage effects.

oddly enough that looks very similar to a addon of a game ive seen once, oh yeah bid for power rings a bell somewhere in the head it was an addon to quake at one time based off of strictly dragonball characters..then they had to change it for some copywrite reason..http://dragonballarena.gamesurf.it/engl ... rpower.phpfirst glance i would have assumed you slapped on some familiar icons from halo in photoshop..but you look at the quality of the 2 its not really comparable..but it looks like you did a nice job

Haha yeah Earth's Special Forces, the half-life modifcation, inspired me. After playing Bid For Power, I got bored of it pretty fast. Tried Earth's Special Forces...it's so much..."free'er" in the gametyle aspect.
