Just because a mob of people rush into a store and steal stuff doesn't mean anybody else is in the right for joining them. Also, the fact that other trashy users have done it in the past isn't the point here. The point is that I released that model requesting that it only be used for rendering and that nobody ever put it in a Halo CE map. A respectful and mature person would acknowledge this and not go against it.

Why are they so well known EVERYWHERE? Because they're great individuals who have all worked hard to create programs and uncover knowledge that aid people in doing what they love. They didn't need to steal Bungie's work to accomplish this, they did it through hard work, endless man hours, and skill.

They Dare , they become well known they know what risks they are taking but they do it anyway , and why? because they know life is more than a bunch of kids trying to put life into a dead game but not suceeding.
They're well known because they lack morals and have no qualms about stealing others work blatantly without giving credit. They are not "great" individuals or groups by a long stretch, they're just kiddies without skill who decided they would steal the work of others instead of trying to learn. And also, it's quite sad that people need to be "known" to be of value; do you think that having a few hundred 13 year olds know your online pseudonym really affects ANYTHING?
Personally, if somebody doesn't know who I am, I really don't care. It doesn't bother me, I don't mind, and I don't look down on them for it. My online popularity is of little regard to my daily life - it should be that way for everybody.

Veegie did rip, and once I explained to him why it was bad he changed his ways. Being a thief and repenting means you're no longer a thief - unless you steal once more. He's not sitting on any border; he's clearly on the non-ripping side. I'm saying that and I usually don't even like him.

So he has been flamed once? Ripping proves you are incompetent, nothing more. It shows people that all you can do is take the work of others because you're not capable in the slightest to be original and create your own content or at the very least it shows you're too lazy to try and recreate (from scratch) what those who are FAR better than you created.
Oh and please, do call me "pathetic" for this post and my viewpoint. At least I don't have to try and "prove" myself to a community of gamers who just think they have some God given right to have whatever they can take. I sure as hell don't wake up every day and work on Prometheus for that community, I do it for me first and for those who I know will be grateful second.
Strider Vega Core: Please heed my wishes and do not include the Scarab model I posted freely for people wanting to do renders. I don't like to see ripped content ported to Halo CE and would rather not take part in supporting it. If you want to rip, that's your thing, it's
a bad thing to do but as long as you're not using material I distributed (with a ToU attached) then I don't care. I don't like it, but I can't stop you from doing it - all I can do is inform you.
