ZOMG, why doesnt he volunteer for the doctor who is now doing face translpants??!

i read that on my computer today and it freaked me out about how much freakish things are going on these days, they take the faces off corpses and sew them onto patients faces, it hasnt been done YET, because they are still recruiting patients but still, the very thought just creeps me out, i mean would you really honestly like someone elses face on you?

im serious though, ill tell you this much

they have to take pills that may cause liver infection and cancer
they tested it on animals (no fucking duh, it always is the animals first)
they are only accepting people who dont drink, smoke, have a non-disfigured face.
there was one guy who is a fire fighter who got in a car wreck and his car blew up and his wife (who was pregnant) died, and he got severly burned and he had to get his lip removied, he has no ears, and his eyes are stuck open and he said that he honestly whouldnt want anothers face on his, even though he scares children (he actually said that), he has no problem with his face, crap happens...

i would tell you the doctors name but all i remember is that she has done thousands of sergeries in 20 years.

and at first the people who make decisions whether new medical techniques should be approved or not were unsey about it, but then the realized that they wished they had this kind of tech when an 8 year old's face was mauled off by a pit bowl and some muscles from his thy were removed to replace the lip, and a he has artificial skin, and is disfigured for his life.....

they hired nurses, doctors, phycologists and others for this job, the sugery will take approxamatley 8 hours, the psycologists are there because wouldnt you feel guilty after taking someones face?

just look up face transplants in a news site or something, or go to www.snopes.com and see if they have anything about it there (snopes is a site where they bust myths for ya, its really cool)
