C4 Tag Importing

I have checked for a while in these forums but my question has not be answered. How do I take these C4 weapon tags that I downloaded and import them into a map? They are a type of weapon tag that i saw on a video once and I just want to actually use the weapon in the game. I have basic knowledge of HMT and Sparkedit, just so you know.

the c4 tags are for HALO CUSTOM EDITION!

you cannot import them into halo PC at all.

learn the HEK, and get CE.

Yea well I saw this movie made in Halo on the computer. I don't know which one. But the movie was called launch line. He used these c4 tags in the game. I'm jsut curious how to get them into a Halo map such as BG. I don't care what game I need to use it. Custom or PC. Also when I said PC b4 i meant any Halo game on the PC.

If you want to get them into BG, (for CE), download TheGhost's BG Tags (from HaloMaps.org), and then download the C4 Tags for the HEK at HaloMaps.org

Confirmed, he didn't give permission.

Tiamat is a person who works at his content through the tools he recieves to create them. There is no reason on why he would want his content used in a way it wasn't intended to be used in.

no he didnt.

they were modified nades, made using the HEK, and other tools.

it was done in CE.

No, when someone releases a set of Tags for public use, they still have strict guidelines on them.

For example, I wouldn't want my released tags to be used in a way I didn't want them to be used. I could forbid the user from using my tags.

Tiamat wanting his tags to be used in PC is a really laughable matter. You have no idea how much effort and work he puts into creating his content.

He released them in Guerilla Editable FORMAT, and Max Editable Format. Obviously, it's not META editable format.

It's sad to see this day come. Discraceful.
I'll stick to adding ~damaged permutations and LODs to my open source tags in the future.

When Tags are released, they are released in the format the user WANTS them to use it in, otherwise noted.

Ripping Content like that is like a discrace to someone's work. It lower's it, a lot.

If you start using a defensive statement saying "Oh you guys rip Halo 2 content," we don't rip Halo 2 content. We convert it. Jahrain and others had a long discussion and post about it. There is a difference, big difference.

You are also talking to someone who releases open-sourced Tags and content. I wrote down that I didn't want my tags converted, I just released them in their proper format, wanting them to stay that way. If someone had ripped one of my release tags I would explode.

and it is ripping because its from a differant game, PC > CE or CE > PC is converting because its the same game -_-
