4 hours!?!? more like 4 months minimum! jk, latest from me... this took 21 minutes to render on a 3GHz P4 with 1.5GB ram.

the elite is doing one of those things that they do in halo 1 when you shoot down his shield and he is about to charge. he's also a little crouched.

not sure, could be the lighting bitmap i used to scatter the light or the reflection of the stars and nebula overhead

So you're saying that you spent 5 hours, rotating the model at an angle. Clicking and dragging a water plane, and making a hole in a box.....

You do relize that can be accomplished in 30 seconds, right? I don't like liars.

EDIT: I just talked to Vinx about a new rule being in effect for this thread.

Do not post your render if it isn't good, and if real effort is shown to be put into it, I said the 4 hour thing was to possibly filter out the submissions for true quality as previously stated numerous times. But I guess you guys are just dead-set on attention, spam, or just plain pissing me off. Whatever one it was, you did a great job at it. This is NOT a conversation topic. The ONLY coversation that will go on here will be for direct feedback on a render. And there will be acknowlaging posts, just straight feedback. If any of the rules previously stated are broken, the post will be removed. And do not ASK for feedback when you post your render, if it is needed, it will be given under free will.

did you read his post? your post has NOTHING to do with a render. you are recieving a warning. you should really follow the rules.

EDIT - no more posting unless it is a direct reply to a render, do not request renders in this thread. do not reply to another post that has nothing to do with a render as it will be deleted and so will your post. if you are replying to a post that has to do with a render, make sure you are also replying to a render so it is not considered spam. if your post disappears that means one of the moderating team members and veegie thought the post was spam. thank you

it might be just me but his left arm looks slighty angled, i want to emphasize slightly. it looks like hes double jointed in teh elbow and is twisting his arm at a funny angle. its probably just me tho. nice job though, its very good

Yeah, there's a kind of dug out part of the "island" that leads from that puddle to the ocean, you might wanna rerender that angle to show him. And on Veegie's render, is it just me, or is *his* right knee/calf really long? And by knee I mean that like top part really, not exactly the knee, but meh, still a nice material.
