Halo PC not installing

ok, i bought halo pc about, 3 years ago in 2002 i think, i got CE, and they both ran fine, till area 55 got released, halo CE stopped working, (as you all know, i bitched in some topics for CE) then, i found out, it was just tight spacing, so i uninstalled PC, to get some space for CE, and it worked great, till the storm of the century mod came out, my friend begged me to get it, and he loves it, i said ok, i tried to install PC, but when it gets to the "copying favicon.ico" in the bottom of the install window, it stops, and says error copying file, i ignore it, and then the next file, same thing, and so on....i posted this on the gbx forums, and got nearly no help, please help me!

hmm... i dono, could be the dirty cd, but if u want me to send u the file then i guess it might fix it (btw its area 51 not 55).

yeah, my disc is pretty dirty.......ill get it cleaned......4 bucks for a professional cleaning! anyway, it was area 55, when the NEWEST area came out, halo ce stopped, and for 3 months, never worked, till i found the difference in space, and uninstalled PC for about, 8, 9 months

you can buy a small machine to repair and clean cds, forget the price
