cool but heres the real reason for my post

some guy offered t make my graphics look way better for pics and stuff, and he sent me some file to replace my old one [ like config.txt he modified or something] but it made my gameplay slow i was wondering if anyone knows what im talking about and can help me by maybe sending the original. and no im not talking about a bitmaps or dds or anything it was some halo file he edited to make the graphics better.

MERK RETURNZ could you actually tell me how you did that? I actually was looking for something that could "trick" Halo into running a different video card while actually running another one. I'd like to see camouflage the correct way, ANYWAY that'd be great if you could tell me.

Send me the instructions he gave you, or something.

But yeah, I'd say reinstall Halo, when you reinstall you have the option to not delete game profiles and stuff like that. Also any mods or maps you downloaded you can move to a folder until you've reinstalled, then just move it right back. Another thing I could do is give you my original config that comes with Halo but I'm not sure how Halo does it, it may be different for everybody.

BACK ON TOPIC, that purple skin looks awesome, you should do more, how about a white one with a happy face, like

hey I want to know that too, I mean I want to know that how to edit halo files like config.txt to get good graphics.or please can you give me that file.I realy need it.

and WhineOkay instead of one big happy face in white.give me a pic of many little happy faces in white or in any color, then it will look better.and try to get a pic in good quality.

I tried touching it up a little, but JPEG format slaughters quality and that's the only format I can upload on the site I'm using, but I can send you BMP if you want. Oh and earlier I got an idea outta nowhere, feel like putting sprites on colors? I don't care what it is, up to you, red, white, orange, any color. Check these out.

Do this only if you want, it's just a suggestion, I'm not giving you "orders" haha, these are just a few things I took a few minutes out of my time to find, or well make, I made the smilies in tile, and touched them up a bit.


It'd look cool on MCs back or something, if you can fit it.


Pick a few cool looking ones and put it on MCs arms, chest, legs maybe?

Dude.. you really have no idea how to make multipurposes. You can't have normal colors on it, they must be set up according to the halo engine.
Blue is colorchange
Green is self-illumination
Red is the cubemap modifier
Alpha can be a number of different things.

unfortunatly, my friend, i do not. i saved all my maps and reinstalled halo to get rid of it. the picture did look way better, and thats what made my screenshots ^^ huge.
