I have found the solution to the Dark Matter SBSP viewer function problem. If you are getting error messages like these,
"Could not initilize Direct3D"
and "Rasterization Failed" (sp?)
,you need to fix your DirectX settings. Here are the step by step instructions on how to fix this. I hope it works for you.
This tutorial is assuming that you have DirectX 9.0 c If you do not have the latest DirectX version google DirectX and download it.
1) Go to Start and click Run
2) Type in "dxdiag" in the open box, but without the "quotes"
3) Click enter and it will bring up a new window named "DirectX Diagnostic Tool
4) On the tabs on the top of the window find the "Display" tag and select it
5) Find where it says DirectDraw Acceleration and make sure it is enabled
6) Under that is the Direct3D Acceleration, make sure that is enabled also
7) Next to make sure everything worked click "Test Direct3D
If you pass the test and see what the system asked if you saw, it worked. Now fire up Dark Matter and make some awsome mods for me.
I really hope this helps everyone. It was really being a pain to me and I am glad that I figured it out.

I wrote the tutorial myself and I downloaded Dark Matter from the halomods files forum. It worked for me and has worked for about a dozen other people. If you think that I am trying to screw over your PC, stop being paranoid. I was sick of having Dark Matter not work, so I tinkered a bit, found a solution, and posted it.
