downloaded maps directory?

where do i put the maps that i download? im completely new to modding halo, so please help. and if this thread gets closed, will someone tell me how by emailing me @ [email protected] . thanks

in the maps folder but u have patch then sign both the mp map and mainmenu.map b4 u can play the mods

Yeh no doubt alot noobs have been joining lately.

Probably b/c they cant really enjoy cheating anymore so they have to find some way to enjoy their softmods.

But then again i dk and these fucking noobs keeps asking the sameshit or even stupid questions like

k, sorry for the super noobish question. but seriously, thats what i am right now. but only with halo modding. btw, how to i put a new skin in the backround when of the main menu.

Calmd down, hellknight. You were new to the modding scene sometime ago aswell.
If you don't have an answer or anything that could help the guy out than don't post.

Well im sorry but its not like his question is a short one i mean right now it seems he just downloaded ppfs or whatever for some maps.

If he used the search button he may hve found the tut or sticky on how to apply these mods.

Also when i first started modding i downloaded the united map pack and it had a tut on what to do so i didnt need to ask But what the hell i guess ill answer him

When u get the ppf u need to apply it the map if the mod is for coagulation.map u need to DOWNLOAD ppf omatic.Run it

To apply the ppf, in the box that says "patch" hit the browse bar and then in file type change it to all filetypes the find the ppf u want to use for coag.

Then in the other blank box hit it then in filtypes to all files then find coagulatin.map.

Then hit Apply Patch.

Now if the ppf is called coag_night u need the rename coagulation.map to coag_night.map. U have to keep that in mind for every mod u have for every map.

Then u use The TF6 ES To sign the coag_night.map then Patch the MainMenu.map and sign that and ftp both back to your xbox.

I hope that helps out a little
