Importing Models To Halo 2 Maps

Hello, Ive got the warthog in studiomax, how the *@$! do i get it back to the map after ive made changes? Is that possible? I heard there was a way to import your models to halo pc, then take from the halo pc map file and put it in halo2 map file, is that true? Thanks.
