Freeze at Microsoft intro

When I try to play Halo 2 off of my harddrive, it freezes at the Microsoft Game Studios intro movie screen. Has this happened to anyone else? I made sure I copied over all the files to my xbox other than the single player maps but it still freezes.

did you get shared, sp_shared, and main menu on the harddrive?

I know I got shared and sp_shared, but where is main menu?

edit: nevermind, i found mainmenu and i got that too. still freezes at the same screen though.

Update: i thought i might have an corrupt intro file, but i downloaded one from here and still freezes a couple seconds in

Ok dude erase halo off your hdd then recopy it from the dvd

you might also want to try clearing your cache

I did.. two or three times and it still didn't work.

I guess i'll try that and see what happens.

EDIT: clearing the cache got me past the intro but now its just giving me a dirty disc error after the intro then loading.
