...They didn't break, the main place where the petroleum is delivered for the U.S is New Orleans. So, that means our main gas source is no longer usable, and gas prices will be like this for quite some time.

they blam it on the pipe lines that got cut off in New Orleans but its really people all at once paniced and started getting gas they said hey alot of gas being bought oh lets rais the prces what kind of bull is that highest ive seen where i live is $5.58

but seriously i live in B.C near the american border and its like $1.20 per litre or something, and on the news i saw a sign that said $4 per gallon somewhere.

gas fuels fulls EVERYTHING now a days

gas does NOT come out of your ass, thats just air.

hybrids cost much more money, plus, we would need all new fuel stations.

1. Hybrids don't cost more. A Prius costs a good $20,000ish (prices will vary a little, but not by much). A Gas-guzzling SUV will probably cost around $30 Grand anyway.

2. Gas doesn't fuel everything, just many things. If anything, Katrina will be good in that it will teach people that you don't need Gas to LIVE, for god's sake.

3. "Need all-new fuel stations"? I'm sorry, last time I checked, Hybrids DO use gas...

4. It's called a bike. Stop bitching about Gas prices and pull out the one in the shed you haven't used in 5 years. Lose a fuckin' pound or two, you could use it.

who cares use a bike or a navy hovercraft it is air/vacum/energy (battery) powered the vacum sucks in lots of air and thrusters shoot it out from the bottom and batterys (not included) keep it going

fuel is retarted now and everyone is to lazy to use a bike i agree with

People are just dependant on gas. The prices could go to $8 a gallon and people would buy it.

Heres what I did though. I built a hover craft. Hreres what you need
1. Solid piece of some light wood.
1. A tarp
3. A leaf blower
4. Alot of long extension cords

Cut the wood into a circle. Then cut a hole for the leaf blower to fit ontop of the thing. Next put the tarp along the underside of the wood, forming it into a circle and allow minimal air between the tarp and the wood. Then, cut small holes in the tarp no larger than a half dollar all the way around the perimiter.
Place the leaf blower into the hole ontop, and attatch the extension cords to it. Remember, the longer the cords, the farther away you can travel. Stand ontop of the makeshift hover craft, and start the leaf blower/engine. You should rise off the ground a bit. Now have some fun!

I made a hover craft, got a scar on my leg from getting burned by the motor. Its alot of fun to go to the top of hills and surf down on it. In other situations, get a gas motor. You can then go anywhere! The top speed is how fast you can run and push. Atleast you saved gas money right?! Nearly pays for itself.

And over here the gas is almost $4 a gallon. Suxor! Honestly, if a gas station charged $2.75, they would get more people. The more people would make up for the the cheap price. They would get more that leading competitors selling it at outragous prices.

that whole hover craft thing just gave me an awsome idea! ok here it is, it requires NO gas, ok here it is:

people replace common cement streets with strong + magnets.

then they build a little car thing, no wheels, just strong + magnets on the bottom and when they turn the key it activates the magnet on the bottom of the car and they can use the repell of the magnets to drive, and when they push the drive pettle it makes the magnet stronger making it go faster, but the break pettle will decrease the energy and it will slow or stop them. As for steering the magnets are connected to the steering wheel and when you turn it the magnets turn allowing you to turn (that was a lot of turns lol)

Not to mention it's stupid. It would never work on a large scale. And it would be impossible to stop, floating cars would be subject to very little friction, which means no stopping, lowering the energy wouldn't stop them, they would just keep going in the direction it started at. And turning wouldn't work either, turning the magnet wouldn't turn the craft.

There are two magnetic polarities, opposites attract, similar repel. So you'd have two similar polarities in the car and on the road so the car would be in the air. When the polaritiy changes your car goes crashing down into the road. Which admittedly would stop you... In addition to hurling you out of your car at (probably) deadly speeds.
