driveable warthogs and nonmovable turrets in BG or any level

if you look at my battle rifle in the pc mod general section under real battlerifle thread u will see i have a scope, what i did was i took the flash light from the bottom of the ar brought it up but u have to make sure u get the correct verticies or ull be pulling them and stretching them, this is what nitrisoxide did with his model just becarful on what u pic. ull notice also that when u put it back into teh game ull have a big hole on the scope, to remove this u go in to ur program to the side of that hole, then pull in the end verticies of the scope to be even with the next set of verticies on it then pull those all into the center so it makes a face. if u have any more questions just ask.

there are a bunch of verticies together, but if u zoom in u can see the ones that are attatched to the flahshlight, just make sure u pic the verticies that are connected by edges on the flashlight, and pull them out put it into a solid look to see if the edge is stretched, in wireframe it will look like it is being stretched but it shouldnt be. just trial and error.

when u have the correct importer, ill try to get u the link, get the object and select it all, right click on it and go down to edit? and go to edit mesh. on the right a modifier menu will come up click on the button that look like dots, for verticies, then on the top bar there is a button with arrows on it that is your move tool use that to move then around to the right of that its your rotate tool, next to that its ur scale tool. Before trying to work with halo weapons i would try to jsut do some easy tutorials and get used to the ui, I use 3d max mostly and from what i see it looks very similar, it is as much better layout than milkshape and should be easier on u.

i know how to make Turrets in BG, but i downloaded this mod in which there were driveable warthogs and there were not movable turrets. do u have to duplicate it? i have been trying to figure it out for a while.
