Manual lightmapping

ive tried using the manual light maaping in sapien, but i cant get it to save.
I can see a disabled 'save lightmap' button in the tool window, and i cant get it to turn on. Anyone know what iim doing wrong.

Anybody? This is really getting in my way. Well does anyone know a good tut for creating light sources then? Id really appriecate any help.

you need to youse kornmans hacked sapien. its called a hobo.
