mainmenu.map help

this is where you add maps to the list right?...in the matg or w/e i have tried liek every way out there to add maps but it always laods a black screen and takes me back to the menu HELP?????

i talked to a meber of um broken halo i think it is called his name is xbox 7887 or something like that he walked me through it and i did everything he said as he was telling me and it still did that black screen thing ARG THIS IS LAME HELP ME ....lol anyone else wanna take a wack at my prblem.?
