How do you connect your xbox to your computer?

I know how to softmod it (using Action Replay) but i dont know how to connect it to my computer so I can mod it. Do you have to have some special cable and if you do what is it.

u need to use action replay cartiridge for the action replay game saves but to onnect ur pc to xbox u need to use a network crossover cable.

i feel bad for you people paying 10 bucks for a cable, i get mine free, i just took an ethernet cable and crossed the wires(hence crossover cable)
