But if you realized some people are having problems opening the actual "bump" bitmaps. The other .dds open fine, but the "bump" ones do not. and bumpmapping is really wierd to do and my ligthing is all funky, partyl lighted and other parts total black. very operculiar
Signatures may not be animated, nor exceed the 75kb file size limit.

bump maps are easy as once u know what to do..
ok once youve extracted you bump maps, go into photoshop(what i have). open the bump map, should be the one with the 0.0, the other 2, rubbish
. ok and when its open its all buggered, go into channels. go to alpha channel and copy its contents and paste them into tyhe RPG layer
go back to layers and merge them together, should be under image or edit, cant remember very well, then they are all working alpha maps
now go to filter and then for me its NVIDIA controls then normal map filter and juct cloick ok
then it will be all purpally, then save it as whatever. dds
go into max
and when you have the main texture, go to its root folder, go down to maps then bump maps and add it
then u just drag the sphere onto the body parts ad render. maby when ill add a little tut later on spccifically on gettin the bump maps working. dunno.

Open Ch2r
Open mainmenu
Extract bump (Im using MC right now)
Delete the 0.1 and 0.2 bumps
Open the 0.0 bump in Photoshop
Go to Channels tab
Select Aplha Channel
Select all
Copy
Paste on to RGB Channel
Layer > Flatten Image
Filter > nVidia Tools > Whatever the thing is called
Set the settings the same as in the tutorial
Save it as both a .dds and a .bmp
Open 3dsmax
Open MC
Hit "M"
Go to my MC bmp
Go down to bump
Set the bump .bmp I made in photoshop (Also tried .dds, still didnt work)
And nothing changes
What is odd is the orb shows the texture, but it doesnt show on the model.

When you choose your Bump Map do you go straight to the Bitmap or to Normal Bump -> Bitmap?
And also can someone please answer my question about where you find MC and the ODSC's visor reflection maps.
