Sapien?

saipen doesnt work on my computer i install it and everything try to open sapien it pops up for one sec then closes itself wat do i do?

Q: Sapien opens and closes when i load a scenario tag.

If, in Sapien, you open a scenerio tag, and it closes very fast, you might have a conflict with your screen color mode. Your Desktop MUST be running with 32 bit colors... right click on the desktop, select properties, pick the Settings tab, and there should be a section named "Color Quality" there, with a dropbox in it. If it doesn't say "Highest (32 bit)" in that dropbox, change it to that. If your computer can't run at 32 bit color, well then you're ****...

Q: Sapien doesn't load.
A: It just takes some time to load. If after 5 minutes and Sapien still isn't loaded, close it.

Q: It's been 5 minutes and it still hasn't loaded! Help!

If your missing a tag in the scenario file you are trying to load, sometimes sapien will bug out. The way to fix this is open debug.txt and look at the last log Sapien created. debug.txt is a great way to find out why tools arent working properly. Look at sapien's log and see what it says. If it says something like "Failed to load tag", this is because a tag in the map is missing. If this is the case, you may have to reinstall HEK. I find it good to keep a backup of my normal Tags folder all unchanged incase this happens.

Well, if you were missing tags, backup all work you did, remove the HEK, and reinstall it.
