Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Not bad so far, then again any iriot (yes, I meant to say iriot) can make a decent-looking AK barrel, sight, and forend.

The AK 47 was the first gun I modeled... and the first model I ever completed hehe. I started with exactly the same parts, but you seem to have all the little details that make for a good model.

About the actual model, I'm wondering if you are going for modern or classic? I went for classic, so my sight loop was closed and some of the features were different from what most people think of when they think about AK's. The 47 was produced all around the world for many decades, so there are many varients. I was wondering if you know which varient you are modeling?

It looks like a later model... however, you may want to take another look at your clip and your pistol grip. They don't seem "just" right.

No, the magazine is OK, but yeah the grip has been chamfered a bit too much. It shouldn't be that big an angle on the edges, it makes the grip look too small. I'm having trouble explaining, hope you understand me
