well, as some people may know...i've been trying to get up to speed with HEK. Lately i've been having some trouble with devices & scenery.

DEVICES:

well, i compile everything & it shows up fine in sapien...but ingame it doesn't animate??? I used the a10 door tags as referance...so if anyone knows why? & also the collision geometry is messed up...like I can walk through some parts of the model...but the collision .jms is the mdoel(no errors)?


Scenery:

ok, i'm having trouble with the whole thing. i place the scenery in sapien & it shows up where i placed it...then ingame it shows up like 8-12 feet off the ground?

hmm, for the collision on your device, make sure that in the collision tag, u make the bounding radius big enough for your model. try 50 or something

and for the thing in the air just position it at 0X 0Y 0Z(so its in the middle) in 3ds max and then recompile
...left for good

if your still having problems just remake the markers from scratch or something and look at my tus to make your own doors
