The GIMP
Is anyone aware of a .dds plugin for the GIMP for windows? If so can you give me a link to somewhere I can get it.

Nope, haven't heard anything about a .dds plugin for GIMP. Good to see other people using quality OSS software. This is the closest I could come to finding a DDS plugin for you.http://nifelheim.dyndns.org/%7ecocidius/normalmap/. I don't know if its fully functionally yet or if it runs on the windows port of GIMP (it should). But the plugin aims to provide all the functionality of the seperately available NVidia plugins for photoshop.
