Thanks for the comments relating to my model, its worth it for the support. And no, this isn't going to be in anytime soon.
Beastman's right I have edited the AR model from the triger back and added the rest on from scratch. I need to edit the back more, raise the top from the root of the rail back, fix the handgrip and make sure I have the proportions right. Then I will remap it to a new skin. THen... who knows, lol. I guess if I can convert the .obj to meta I should be able to rebuild it into a map, but that is foriegn to me since I play XBOX halo.

U added new things u wont be able to put it into halo, maybe when sdk comes out but then there will be models that look exactly like it (the real battle rifle). Look at the first page of my scratch br, thats only half an hour of work and there are AMAZING modelers, like this guy reactor i think is his alias, and hes made a bunch of vehicles and weapons for halo when the sdk comes out, but to compete with the models that are going to be coming out ull have to be a top notch modeler.
Yeah I know that I can't put it into halo just yet, im waiting to see what features the sdk comes out with so it can be put into a map (there may be features in a new hmt that would get around it someway but that will come out probably later than the sdk), I haven't tried putting it in halo as is cause it obviously won't work. I t has different number of vertices so there is no point in me even merging the parts of the model together to give the same amount of sub objects. I saw that battle rifle of your's before, I remember it being pretty good but I can't look at it now. Anyways, I would like to see the reactor guys work, so if it really good I will stop modelling on a couple of projects I have going, no point on doing myself if some other dude will get there. THere a few Halo 2 models that i will like in Halo but if they are being built I will go onto maps and maybe whole campaign mods eventually. What model are u talking about, if its mine just download danks model this way u can check the whole mod out, its not completed but still awesome. Oh and that guys name was carnage, he not like a great modeler but hes just an amazing skinner so it makes his models look really good, just like unreal, their models are real low poly but they look awesome from the skin, carnages are high poly and probably wouldnt run in halo to well but im sure hell make some awesome stuff. http://carnage.bungie.org/rogerwilco/index.htm

I know they do in halo2 but halo i would have to check, but yeah bump maps are what made halo just amazing cause since they dont add any polys it was good for game play and just made all the levels look real, unlike most games they actually took a real good advantage of being able to use them, in halo 2 its going to be even more so. I LOVE IT
Thanks for the support sp2sam! well i started on the smg, only about 10 mins of work so its ruff but wanted u guys to see anyway, i still need the move the handle back u can see the hand is going through it, and mess with verticies some more to make it look good, but its jsut teh basic look of it now. http://server5.uploadit.org/files/Beastman-SMG.JPG tell me what u think. EDIT:Okay i got the hand in the right spot, just a few clicks, ummm still workin on it a bit but goin to bed pretty soon ill work on it tomm though and the br, i think me and dank will have an update this weekend with the smg br and covenent sniper, but they probably wont be skinned and still need a little work but want to get some updates out so u see it progress. Have fun
