Ok, I usually convert silly sounds that I recorded and import them into halo, but now I recorded a battle rifle and an smg fire and once I convert them and import them into halo, they just become static! Anyone know how I fix this? And even better, could someone convert it for me? I want the three battle rifle sounds for the assault rifle sounds or the sniper sounds, and I want the smg sound for the assault rifle or sniper, which ever one you didn't use of the battle rifle.
Here are the sounds: http://www.members.shaw.ca/chungw/convert.zip
Sound converting doesn't work for me all of a sudden!

this thing happened to me as well, not the exact thing but....i was going to import a track from ut2k4, and i dragged one out, then put it in hmt, and got the song in and all, but when i loaded halo, it played the track, but only the first 10 seconds and went back to the halo soundtrack, i didnt know how to fix it, so i re installed halo...

Yeah I know when I can never convert ogg sounds. But I'm not converting ogg sounds right now, I'm trying to convert XBOX wave files. I'm trying to convert those sounds to 4 bit 22.050 hz (or khz I don't remember) xbox wave. It sounds fine after I convert it with goldwave, but when I inject the sound it turns into static.
