Help! DL Map patching in Halo 2!

If this has been asked and answered before please tell me, I've been looking for 1 and a half hours, I can't find it.

I dowloaded a patch for Turf and Containment, I successfull patched it w/ PPF, encrypted it, and moved it to the TDATA folder in ftp. The problem is, when I play the map, the mod won't show up, it's just the original map. Do I need to download any extra files or something? Please help...

Add another entry to your Main Menu.map and put the map in the Maps folder. If not, then delete everything in the folders besides the .maps themselves, go to System Link, have someone pick the map, and then have them give you party control back.

Do you mean in the entire TDATA folder, or just the folder containing the actual .map files?

The folders inside Halo's TDATA folders with the maps, like the patch.lvl, etc.

I tried deleting everything in the folder that had the .map file and it screwed up my maps o.O First, it said there was a problem with my downloaded content, so I put the files backk in. Then, only Warlock and Containment came up and I failed to load them, I'm gonna go DL them again. What did I do wrong?

No no no. It's supposed to say that you can't use the maps. Then what you do is go into a System Link game with another box with them as host, have THEM choose the map, and you'll still be able to load it. If you only have 1 Xbox, the only other method we can do now to play the modded new maps is if you add them into your Maps folder + Main_Menu.map
