you need to make a .weapon_hud_interface
or sumthign like that, its some sort of hud interface

yeah, you have to design a HUD for it
although im not quite sure how, but thats what you missing

first of open ur game in dev mode so u can actually take pics of it and see if mcs holding the gun the right way if hes not you need to move it around in max tull you get it right for the fp model a few people know how to do it including me thanx to someone i wont mention and no i cant tell anyone how to do it im still having problems with it myself

no problem man the reason you want to use dev mod is so you could see mc from an ouside view so you can see how he is holding the weapon incase you need to make adjustments

ok i do have two more questions. I need to know how to create the first person view for my weapon. I also need to know how to make it so my model will shoot a projectile and how to create the hud_interface. Thank for all your help guys.

i cant tell you how to do the fp but for the hud just copy assault rifles put it in your gus folder and then rename it

This doesnt work you still cant see the fp view of the gun I dont know why but it is like 7 feet behind him still. PLz HELP

thats why you have to reposition the gun in max put the gun 0 0 0 cordinates make sure the handles on the middle

I think it may be your frame. You have to place the frame at the handle. Also, place frame at the origin.
