I stopped being lazy and started using hmt 3.5

Post by Wilson_Chung »

Now that I finally started using hmt 3.5, I learned how to do some stuff I couldn't do in hmt 3.0. I just have a question: Is it possible to PMI something, and then duplicate the collision model of the PMI-ed object? It never works for me. PMI always worked for me, I am not having problems PMI-ing, but I am having problems duplicating collision models while PMI-ing. Duplication was easy in HMT 3.0 and it always worked. Now it doesn't even finish building the map, it just crashes and tells me the duplicated file was screwed up. The duplicated collision has no non-existing dependecies and I xml edited it to null out all the dependencies, in case that it would screw it up. Can anyone help me?

So... Um.. I'm assuming it's impossible right? Sorry if it's stupid.

it may work on a different map or something. From what i remember people used to complain about the "PMIing" in 3.5 it was sort of random sometimes in actually letting you pmi correctly. DId you download the updated version of 3.5? It's not really new or anything anymore, but if you don't have it, then it may help.
