Halo Shadows

How come a shadow (people or vehicle) will dissapear if it goes to high? Like, if you have 3rd person trainer on and you jump, your characters shadow will dissapear at a certain hight. Is there some way that you can mod the game so that it won't go away unless your really high? Basically I want to know if you can do this, and if so, maybe someone can make it.

Why it goes away? Well, hmm... Take a look at your shadow when you're pretty high in the air. Still see it? Guess not. Anyway, this is pretty weird... I really have no clue on it. Sorry
