Problem with map...

Ok, for some reason whenever I dl a map file from this site, for example night ops mod, then when it downloads, its an internet file. How can I change it to a .map file?

If you mean its a .rar file extension.

.rar is a file archive , like .zip
Go here.... http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

And download the beta copy for free. You use it to unrar (like unzip) the file, and you will find the .map file inside.
