HaloCE??????????????????????????????????????????

ummm.....everytime i open up HaloCE it only shows the fullscreen HALO and then it comes off and i cant start i up to play it........gggrrrrr.........can any1 please tell me what it is????PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you use the original Halo PC key? What video card do you have? What kind of computer? System specs?

yea i used the same cd key from the HaloPC and i have a GeFORCE 5500 OverClocked 256MB DDR...VGA+S-Video Out.......................................................................................................and also a long time ago i use to have haloCE and it runed but now it doesnt...........so please help me!!!!!!!!!

Download the Halo CE strings. Problem solved.

Im having the same exact problem. I used to be able to play Halo CE fine a couple months ago, then i quit for a while now it dosent work. What are these strings you are taking about?

Try temporarily removing all the custom maps from the maps folder.

Ive done that. I have done some research and figured out it is the Strings.dll that is not compatible with my Nvidia 256mb graphics card. im searching for the Halo CE fixed version of this file at the moment.
