Halo with Nividia Geforce Grafx card and SP 1.

Help!

I have SP 1 installed and now halo won't run. I sometimes can get it to work if I keep reinstalling it. If anyone knows how to fix this, I would be very greatful.

SPC's:

-Nividia GeForce FX5200 GRFX card
-2.8 gighz P4 processor (no hyperthreading

)
-working sound card

-_- im pretty sure its not ur graphics, but if u want to make sure , and updates your drives, and make tests ( find dxdiag in ur c: drive )
and test everything, also make sure ur not playing using ANY programs that recquires ur gfx memory, u cant play to things at once, itll just say an error about direct_draw, or somthing, i wouldnt worry about it at ALL!

edit: oh and wats the rams?

IT's that stupid WMI process. The update fucked it up. and the worst thing is that just bout every program uses it. SO to play the game, I doble click the Icon then I go into my services and stop WMI. As soon as I stop the thing, INSTANTLY, Halo starts.

er oh i had the same problem when i first had my custom built pc i could only get it to work in safe ode which sucked but the shop upgraded the gfx card to radion 9800 pro which sorted it its eather the gfx card or the driver try system restore
