hey swamp fox, how many hours do you suppose you wokred on this master piece??

ALSO,
so your saying this mod will be allowed in the contest?you should have everyone on the same page,by that i mean same editing programs..if swamp fox has tools that nobodys else does how is that a fair contest..not hating on you swamp..i think its the best mp mod, as far as scenery goes.
if swapm fox was literaly going to submit this mod into the halo nightmare contest, this mod would R.A.P.E EVERY SINGLE MOD OUT THERE

UNLESS, God himself made a halo 2 mod!!!!

its cool and awesome breakthroughs but its not all that fun, sorry

too dark, lots of sounds missing. and the blue stuff gets kind of annoying after awhile

what you did well you did extremely well, and what you missed are still necessities.

lostboyz.

I don't know about that. everyone thats play the map loves it. we all wanted to play on kai but the syslink issues are the only thing that got in the way.

the dark in the level isn't as bad you say. it has a 'dusk' feeling to it. the blue does get on your nerves after awhile but thats no biggie.

SwampFox.
maybe if you made the charge on the antennae start closer to it? that way it's not see across the whole map.

Just a suggestion, as this seems the be the thing that's bothering most people.

To GodzSF:
Yes, webspace would be very nice. Even if you don't wish to fully host everything I do, an even split from a few sites always helps.

To whoever it was that said the Silent Cartographer is the only cool thing I've ever done:
You need to pay more attention.

To the guy who said this mod isn't fun:
It takes courage to oppose the views of 120 people, but I do respect your opinion.

what i think he meant is this map is more like an artistic showcase than it is a battlefield. you've done things to this map that most modders can only dream of doing. but for overall functional gameplay it lacks somewhat

you working on anything else? or is that top secret?

Well, I halfheartedly agree with that. If I had spent another three months, learning more about weapon values, moving more stuff around, I am sure I could make this more 'fun'. But for now, since I was tiring of working on this map, I decided that I would release it as it is. And besides, I like balanced maps, not ones with one shot kill guns and giant explosions (even if they have cool effects). I enjoy things like mods that tell a story, have good visual effects, etc., and I think that I have succeded in that realm. That, and the fuel rod gun, jackal shield, and gravity throne just kick ass. 8)

My next mod isnt "top-secret", it's just that good mods take a lot of time without programs like Sparky and Sapien to do them for you. I'm still compiling ideas for what I may do next time around, I still have not even decided on a map to use yet.

Well done swamp fox on anamazing (visual) mod and i agree on the game play facts

It is very impressive (didn't expect any less lol)

May i suggest for your next mod a bigger map such as Coag, Waterworks, Containment, Headlong i'd like to see a working pelican in mp (don't know if this is possible with map rebuild

I think you definatly raised the bar in modding level lol

I'm not suprised about the system link issues it's what you get at the moment (amazing rebuilt map or system linkable basic maps?)

lol Well done and can't wait for more releases

Boy, would I love to. But for either of those things to work, I need physics models to be importable. If anyone wants to help speculate or actively contribute, I put a topic up for it in the Halo 2 forum (not files).

well maybe all the modding groups should come together, and put everything out on the table,so we can make the major break throughs that are nessesary to advance in h2 modding.the pelican and phantom and things like that are easy to bring into MP..but another team (example) seventh sanctum..could get it flying and all around stable.and your team can create the sickest looking maps..hmmm just a thought any feedback on that? lets share and lets learn some things from eachothers groups
