how do i make a dropship carry a ghost with elites in them?
how do i make a dropship carry a ghost with elites in them?
anyone know ive been trying to make it work for a few hours but no luck.
i've sincerely got no clue how, but i do think the single player parts where you see this is because it is counted as in in-game cutscene (like whenever you see a pelican or dropship flying around, it's an in-game scripted event/cutscene)
like, the ghost with the elite in it is a "child" (follows exactly to form the illusion of being carried by) of the dropship, and when the dropship sets down, the heirarchy link is broken (the ghost is no longer a "child" of the dropship) and normal physics and ai takes effect. now this is just a theory, but i personally think t is pretty dang close

I saw somewhere where it said you could do this in guerilla or something, im not clear on how, but maybe export the tags from hmt and there is a way to do this in guerilla, idk, i know that some programmer did it a while back, you will have to look for the topic cause i gtg for now, lol
